Air Sol is an airline featured in Grand Theft Auto IV.
Description
An online article from Liberty Tree mentions that an intoxicated pilot nearly killed over 200 passengers on an Air Sol flight to Francis International Airport from Vice City. He was increasingly loud during the duration of the flight, shouting "kamikaze" and "look, no hands" while the plane approached the airport. At one point, he even exposed himself to airhostesses. During a subsequent interview, the pilot apologized for his actions, but he received a two-week suspension from the airline.
Also, Weazel News reports on the radio that Air Sol is struggling to cut costs and aims to install paid toilets in their planes, upsetting many passengers.
Influence
The airline's name could be inspired by Sun Country Airlines, as "sol" is the Spanish word for "sun."

Trivia
- The name of the company, when spoken quickly, sounds like "arsehole", which fits with the suggestive slogans and the sun-themed logo resembling an anus. Additionally, several of their advertisements feature innuendos of anal sex.
- On the Rockstar Games Social Club website, an Air Sol plane ticket can be found for Niko Bellic to go from Liberty City to San Andreas, despite the company not serving Los Santos during the events of Grand Theft Auto V.[1]
