The FIB Building is a skyscraper in Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes from Liberty City and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars located in Easton, Algonquin, Liberty City.

Description

The building serves as the head office of the Federal Investigation Bureau in Liberty City. It is located on the intersection of Jade Street and Albany Avenue. The main entrance of the building is located on Albany Avenue, and small parking lot can be found on an alleyway on Jade Street, where LCPD officers can often be found loitering.

The edifice is named the FIB Building during the Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars mission Wi-Find. Although no such markings support this on the physical model, LCPD officers may spawn in the rear parking lot in GTA IV, confirming its government/law enforcement purpose.

The building has Gaunt advertisements on it, like many other locations in Easton.

Influence

The building appears to be based on the Socony–Mobil Building located at 150 East 42nd Street in New York.^[1]

Events of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

The building is identified as the FIB Building in the mission Wi-Find where Huang Lee hacks the FIB mainframe to grab the Triad rat's ID from an encrypted file. Huang goes to the alleyway outside the building and download the rat's file.
