Dropping science with Dr. No and the Chemical Bro.
— GTA V Website

The Lab is a radio station featured in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online that plays hip hop. The station was initially released with the PC version of GTA V, but was later added to other versions as part of the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update.

Description

The station's playlist is composed of music featured on the album entitled "Welcome to Los Santos" and is hosted by Doctor No and the Chemical Bro (aka Oh No and The Alchemist), who formed the Gangrene music production project. The radio station was initially exclusive to the PC edition of Grand Theft Auto V, released on April 14, 2015, but later became available to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game as part of the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update on July 8, 2015.

This is one of the preferred stations of Franklin Clinton and the Ballas.

The station is part of the "rap" default radio set for vehicles in Grand Theft Auto V and Online, alongside Radio Los Santos, West Coast Classics, Blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM, and IFruit Radio.

Although the majority of the songs from the "Welcome to Los Santos" album appear on the station, "Bad News" by Danny Brown and Action Bronson is not present. It is later featured on Radio Los Santos in the enhanced versions of GTA V and GTA Online.
