Carl has just frightenedJohnny Sindacco into revealing that the Sindacco Crime Family has been responsible for the vandalism at Woozie's new casino venture. Armed with this information, Carl is poised to push the Mafia families out of Las Venturas, and begins to systematically dismantle their presence. Woozie next asks Carl to acquire a stash of dynamite being used at the nearby Hunter Quarry. Carl goes to the Quarry and finds the foremen preparing to detonate the dynamite. Carl collects the dynamite and escapes from the quarry, while avoiding security. Carl then gives the explosives to Woozie's assistant, who is waiting outside the quarry. The assistant drives off with the explosives and the mission is completed.
Mission Objectives
In order to complete the mission the player must:
Go to the Quarry
Get the Dynamite before the timer runs out and it's detonated
Security is blocking the exit. Use the dirt bike to find another way out
So, the Sindacco Family was behind the attempts to sabotage our venture. I wonder why it's only them and not the others?
CJ:
Probably ain't just them. Rule of the streets: don't snitch.
Woozie gives the golf club to CJ.
CJ:
What we need... is to hit the mafia casino. Yeah, go jack the place.
Woozie:
Hey, hitting a casino isn't like gangbanging - it's a whole different league!
CJ:
Yeah, you're right. It'll take some planning, but I'm down. Shit, I always wanted to pull a heist.
CJ hits the ball, but the assistant makes him miss the cup.
CJ:
What the-?
Woozie:
Ah, bad luck. Listen, you're gonna need a crew and some special equipment.
CJ:
Yeah, it'll take some explosives. Always gotta blow up shit to pull a heist.
Woozie:
You know what? There's an open cast mine southwest of the city limits. They must have explosives.
CJ:
I'll go peep it out.
CJ goes to Hunter Quarry, located southwest of Las Venturas. He finds the dynamite, which is set to explode in two and a half minutes. CJ finds a Dumper and smashes the crates open with them and collects the dynamite, while avoiding quarry workers and security guards.
Quarry Worker:
You don't have clearance for this area! Hey, that's dangerous!
After CJ grabs the dynamite, the security arrives to seal off the exits. CJ hops onto a Sanchez dirtbike and makes his escape through the quarry. After escaping the quarry onto the freeway, CJ goes to meet a Triad member outside the city limits and give him the explosives.
CJ:
Delivery for Woozie. Hey, you be careful with that...
The Triad member takes the dynamite and leaves in a Manana.
If the player kills the foreman who is in charge of the dynamites, the time limit will disappear, allowing the player to steal the dynamites without worrying that they would explode.
If the Dumper used to break the dynamite crates is destroyed, the mission will fail, even if the player has already collected the dynamite.
After the player collects the dynamite, a sandstorm will automatically occur until the player leaves the Quarry.
If the Sanchez is destroyed or immobilised, the mission will not fail and the player will instead be instructed to find another Sanchez (from the same spawn point).
If the player gets on a different Sanchez, they will still be instructed to go to the marked one.
