The Turismo is a two-door sports car featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto IV and its episodes and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. It is manufactured by Grotti in the HD Universe.
Influence
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
The Turismo in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is largely based on the Ferrari F40, with a modified spoiler and sloped, square taillights. The headlights and the spoiler might be taken from the Ferrari F40 LM, while the bonnet is similar to the Ferrari Testarossa. The front fascia resembles the Ferrari F512M.
Grand Theft Auto IV
The Turismo in Grand Theft Auto IV is primarily based on the Ferrari 360, with various elements from the Ferrari F430, such as the headlights and the side profile. The side vents on the front bumper are reminiscent of the Ferrari F430 Scuderia, although flipped upside-down, while the front bumper as a whole, as well as the rear fender vents and the side mirrors, is most likely taken from the original Lamborghini Gallardo. Side vents may be inspired by the Porsche Carrera GT. The tail light layout seems to be inspired by the Ferrari Testarossa. The rims resemble the three-piece OZ Racing Superleggera rims.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
The Turismo in the DS version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars still resembles the 360/F430 but now takes small cues from the Corvette C6. In the PSP and mobile versions, the Turismo has even more C6 influence, to the point that it closely resembles the Coquette.
Design
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
The Turismo assumes a sleek and aerodynamic design. characterized by its extensive length and distinctive rear taillights and rear vent. The rear of the car features a tall, double-fin spoiler by default. Below the rear vent, a number plate appearing to emulate European number plates can be seen. In The Definitive Edition, this plate is replaced with a blank, standard American-style number plate.
The Turismo is seen in a variety of single colours, being applied to the entire body and the spoiler.
Grand Theft Auto IV
The Turismo gains a major redesign compared to its previous iteration. It remains a sleek and aerodynamic sports car, but has an overall smaller footprint and a more rounded design. The car is characterized by its large front trunk area, its rear fender intakes, and its distinctive taillight and rear grille assembly, which bears a slight resemblance to its Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas counterpart. The rear fender intakes of the Turismo may randomly spawn either as flat slatted grilles or as scooped intakes.
The Turismo's sporty interior is heavily clad in tan leather on the dash and seats. A "TURISMO" badge can be seen on the door seams when the doors are open, as well as on the dial cluster and glovebox (albeit in a heavily low quality). A low-quality Grotti badge can be seen on the horn cap.
The Turismo spawns in a variety of single colours applied to the entire body. It uses a set of 12-spoke rims with bolt details on the outer section.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
The Turismo in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars largely retains the GTA IV appearance, with several design differences depending on the version played. In the Nintendo DS version, the vehicle remains largely similar to the GTA IV rendition, with subtle changes to the shape of the headlights. In the PSP and mobile versions of the game, the design differences are more substantial, with the headlights bearing a slight resemblance to the Coquette, being moved further up the front end of the car.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
The engine appears to be a V6 equipped with three carburetors/throttle bodies on top, which is coupled to a five-speed gearbox in a mid engine, all wheel drive layout. It uses the high-revving engine sound from high-end sports cars such as the Cheetah, Comet, Banshee, and Super GT.

Grand Theft Auto IV
According to Autoeroticar.com, the Turismo's engine in GTA IV is a high-revving 4.0L Quad Cam V8 fitted to 5-speed manual transmission. Its engine model is roughly similar to that of the Infernus of the same game, with "GROTTI" printed on the cam covers. True to the website statement, it is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox in a rear engine, rear wheel drive layout. The website also specifies that the vehicle features ABS, which is somewhat complemented with the fact that the wheels rarely lock under braking pressure (unless the car encounters a significant bump on the road), as well as having good steering capabilities while braking. It has a unique engine sound, being high-revving and high-pitched, yet with a rather quiet tone compared to the one used on the Infernus, the Comet and the SuperGT.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
The Turismo still performs very well like in GTA IV, and the mid engine layout also means that it is shielded from frontal impacts and mildly shielded from rear impacts. Similarly to GTA IV, the Turismo has low resistance to gunfire.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Importable from Easter Basin (San Fierro) after completing the second export list, only on Monday. Import cost: $76,000.
- Spawns around The Strip and the Old Venturas Strip, Las Venturas.
- In the Las Venturas Freight Depot Race Tournaments, choosing the Las Venturas Ringroad race will provide you a Turismo. Park it in a garage and abandon the race. When you return to your garage, the car will still be there.
Grand Theft Auto IV
- In Beachgate, the gated community east of the funfair in Broker, there is a Turismo parked beside the Faustin's Mansion.
- Parked outside the Dawkins' Mansion on Owl Creek Avenue in Westdyke, Alderney for Stevie's Car Thefts, this Turismo has a unique Bronze paint which the player could only obtain here.
- The Grotti dealership on the road adjacent to Niko's Middle Park East Safehouse in Middle Park East, Algonquin, across the street from Middle Park East's Perseus, contains eight Turismos. Stealing one gives the player a one star wanted level, even if there is no police presence in the area. It is easy to park it outside the Safehouse nearby to own it. If the player wants to steal one during the night, they probably need to break one of the dealership's windows, as the doors will be locked.
- Occasionally spawned in Middle Park, Little Italy, The Exchange, City Hall, Castle Garden City, Castle Gardens (Algonquin), Rotterdam Hill (Broker), Westdyke, Leftwood, and Alderney City (Alderney).
- At Auto Eroticar (occasionally).
- Spawns at Bernie Crane's apartment at the beginning of Union Drive.
- In Jeff's last random encounter, he is run over by a Turismo - the driver gets out to call the police, giving the player ample time to steal it.
- Randomly appears while the player is driving another supercar.
- May spawn more frequently in traffic, and parked randomly along the roadsides, when driving a Sentinel around Alderney City.
- Spawn in traffic during Multiplayer.
- Can also be obtained with a cheat code (227-555-0147). This cheat code will not block any of the achievements and trophies in game.
- In The Lost and Damned, it appears in Dave Grossman's random encounter with a red primary colour, a unique secondary colour that can only be viewed within a save editor, and one of eight possible lustres.
- In The Ballad of Gay Tony, calling Henrique and requesting a Turismo will have one delivered to your location. Henrique will bring one in a rare and hard to find baby blue.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
- It is common through most parts of the city, especially Northern Algonquin.
- Parked in a driveway of a house in Beachgate, Broker, where a Resolution X may also spawn in front of.

- No. 1 – The player will be racing against two Turismos. One of them is featured with a red primary colour, while the other is featured with a yellow primary colour, a unique secondary colour that can only be viewed within a save editor, and one of nine possible lustres.
- Stevie's Car Thefts – The Turismo is one of the 30 vehicles wanted by the Stevie's Car Thefts in the side-mission of the same name.
The Ballad of Gay Tony
- No. 3 – Luis must go to a garage north of Middle Park where three cars are kept - a yellow Turismo (Mori's car), a blue F620 (Brucie's car) and a red and white Bullet GT (the player's car). The three line up and Mori takes the lead. The player, then, must follow Mori and weave in and out between streets and police cars (as the player gains a three-star wanted level, due to Mori tipping off the cops to make things 'interesting').

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- At Zero RC in Garcia, San Fierro, there are boxes of a model car based on the Turismo, but called the "Tourismo", a common misspelling of Turismo.
- The beta name of the Turismo was the Tourismo, which can be observed in the TXD textures of the Topfun in GTA San Andreas.
Grand Theft Auto IV
- All Turismos in Grand Theft Auto IV come with horn alarms, but the one at Mikhail Faustin's mansion will not trigger when Niko opens the door, because it is unlocked. However, if the player damages the car in any way, the alarm will go off, regardless of whether Niko is in the car or not.
- Billboards advertising the Turismo were originally meant to appear in Star Junction in an earlier version of the game. However, they got cut out of the final release. The billboards can still be seen in some of the in-game TV shows.
- At $130,995, the Turismo is the second most expensive car in GTA IV. The first being the Infernus at $150,000, and the third being the Super GT at $110,000.
- The Turismo is also the most expensive car on the Auto Eroticar website.
- In The Ballad of Gay Tony, when Luis Lopez calls Henrique Bardas for a Turismo, Luis will pronounce the name of the car as /tu-rí-mo/.
- While playing GTA IV, one can sometimes see people trying to fix their damaged Turismo (smoke coming out of the engine), but while the engine is in the back of the car, they have the front boot open instead.
- In the beta version of GTA IV, the Turismo had different rims (resembling the rims found on its real-life counterpart, the Ferrari 360) and had a small spoiler on the rear.
- According to the Auto Eroticar website, the Turismo was manufactured in 2001.
