The 2-axle variant of the Brute Tipper is a dump truck appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
Influence
This variant of the Tipper appears to be based on a second generation Chevrolet Kodiak/GMC TopKick, notable in the side profile of the fenders and overall cab design.
Design
The Tipper appears as a twin-axle, 6-wheeler rig with a streamlined nose and a more traditional square grille, while the fenders have dual circular headlights and top-mounted square signals. The cabin has a slanted windshield and features small black mirrors, vertical door handles and smaller grab handles on the sides, while the roof features square-shaped marker lights and mounted horns.
The truck may spawn with or without dirt in the rear tipper compartment. The tipper compartment itself is also considered an extra component, but is forced to spawn permanently.
In-game, the 2-axle Tipper is manufactured by Brute, as shown on the in-game HUD. The vehicle model itself, however, lacks any physical badges, similar to the 3-axle Tipper. This was reflected on the Rockstar Games Social Club up until 2019 when the site was revamped, and the two vehicle's listings were inadvertently switched, wherein the 3-axle Tipper is now listed as manufactured by Brute, and the smaller 2-axle Tipper lacks a manufacturer.
The truck cab is painted with the primary color, while the tipper compartment is painted with the secondary color, and shares the same industrial wheels from trucks like the Mule, the Benson and the Phantom. The vehicle is also fitted with a CB radio, and occasional trucker chatter can be heard regardless of whether the main radio is turned on or off. The chatter will only play if playing as Trevor and in Blaine County.
Performance
The performance of the Tipper is that of an average heavy truck, with slow acceleration but remarkable top speed. It has a very large turning radius and its heavy handling leaves much to be desired.
The truck is powered by an inline-4 engine fitted with a turbocharged, coupled to a 4-speed gearbox and powering the rear wheels. The engine sound is shared with trucks like the Phantom and the Rubble.

Oversights
- The lower detail models of the 2-axle Tipper feature an aerial mounted on the passenger-side of the hood. This is not present on the highest detail model.
- Brute is missing as the manufacturer on the vehicle's Social Club page.
Radio Stations
- In Grand Theft Auto V and Online, the default radio stations are grouped by genre. The Tipper uses the "Country" group which plays Rebel Radio.
